About Me
With over 10 years of experience working with children - ages newborn through 7 years old, I have developed a practice of supporting parents and teaching them strategies for tuning into their child’s needs. I focus on helping parents acknowledge and expand on their strengths, connect with their children -- all while remaining their human selves :). The parent-child relationship serves as the catalyst for change, helping children learn to adjust, handle conflict, make sense of their thoughts and emotions, and understand who they are.
I have my certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based treatment for children (2-7) experiencing big outward displays of emotion - often referred to as “behavior problems”. We work on co-regulation and responding in-the-moment to meet the child's needs. Learn more
